DOCUMENTARY VIDEOGRAPHER/CINEMATOGRAPHER (X1)

We are seeking a Videographer/cinematographer whose practice focuses on documentary storytelling, cultural heritage, indigenous knowledge systems, and community-based narratives.

• Strong experience in documentary filmmaking

and visual storytelling.

• Ability to capture oral histories, community

narratives, and cultural practices with sensitivity

and ethical awareness.

• Experience filming live performances, public

events, and participatory processes.

The STAND Foundation invites artists and creatives from across Southern Africa to apply for an exciting grant opportunity. The project under the Africa-Europe Partnerships for Culture: Southern Africa component, funded by the European Union implemented by the Goethe institute invites practitioners across all artistic disciplines to engage with heritage narratives from six countries and reimagine them through a contemporary creative lens.

Selected participants will receive a €6,000 grant and take part in a six-month Heritage Narrative development phase, culminating in three co-produced creative works.
